Building Libraries

SHARE has created 4 school libraries in Tanzania, and has also supplied books to our partner organizations in South Africa, Malawi, and Zanzibar, benefiting 8000 students and teachers. The SHARE libraries are equipped with thousands of children’s books, textbooks, and school supplies that have been shipped nearly 10,000 miles to the SHARE branches. To date, SHARE volunteers have collected over 33,000 children’s books, thousands of school supplies, a dozen laptop computers and 10 E-readers. The new libraries benefit the entire school population during the school day, and host the SHARE programs for girls after school hours.
