"I first joined SHARE  3 years ago when Shannon and I became friends, and since then, it has been quite a humbling experience. After I started corresponding with two Tanzanian pen pals, the whole program became much more personal; now, there was a name, a face and a voice at the other end of the charity work and I wanted more than anything to help out my newfound friends. I had already started making and selling jewelry to raise $1000 for Save the Children to rescue the families in Haiti, which had turned out to be quite successful. I decided to begin splitting the funds between the two organizations-Save the Children and SHARE. I've raised $275 so far by making and selling about 30 bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings combined over the past year!"
